Dr Tumi gets bail
South African Gospel artist, Dr Tumi, and his wife, Kgaogelo Makweya, are out on bail after their arrest for allegedly defrauding the National Lotteries Board.
The couple supposedly altered information on documents submitted to the National Lotteries in September 2018, which resulted in a whopping R1.5 million being transferred into a private bank account.
The social media jury were quick to dissect the merits of the case and whether the superstar singer is guilty or not.
“If Bushiri’s followers can defend him then I also believe Dr Tumi is innocent,” states one pro-comment, to which someone hit back, “The question is does Dr Tumi believe he is innocent.” Another comment reads, “Now the poor devil is going to be blamed for Dr Tumi stealing.”
Not even the anointed are spared from the grip of worldly pleasures.
