IDM SOARS HIGH DURING THE 2022 TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS ROADSHOW

-

Institute of Development Management (IDM) Marketing & Communications Manager Chris Moiketsi says they have made positive strides during the 2022 tertiary education institutions roadshow which commenced last month. IDM joined 16 tertiary institutions to reach out to over eighteen towns and villages across Botswana in a roadshow that was themed ‘Promoting a seamless partnership in tertiary education’. The roadshow that started on the 7th March 2022 ended in Gaborone at Railpark Mall on the 6th April. With the roadshow coming to an end, Moiketsi said they have received a significant number of applications ever since they started the tour throughout Botswana. “There is a significant growth in the number of applications received during this year’s countrywide expositions. We have been participating in this combined initiative by tertiary institutions over the past eight years but this year was completely different, we reached out to a wider populace. This also proves that learners continue to show their faith in the IDM brand and its programme offerings. Moreover, our aim of contributing to the vision of a knowledge based economy by the Government of Botswana will be achieved,” said Moiketsi. IDM prides itself in its flagship programmes which include Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Records Management. Over and above these sought after programmes, IDM is a leading training provider in the fields of Accounting and Finance, Office Management, Early Childhood studies, Travel and Tourism, Community Development and Public Health. Speaking at the Francistown exposition launch earlier, IDM Francistown Campus Manager Mr Moakofhi said that IDM provides flexible modes of study to its learners at affordable prices. “IDM has over the years remained an innovative training service provider, trusted by both the public and private sectors for over 45years of its existence. We have introduced study modes such as block release which provides convenience due to its flexible nature. This mode of study ensures that learners can work and study at the same time,’said Moakofhi. IDM also offers short-term Executive Development programmes aimed at empowering professionals with development skills to enhance and support their roles within organizations.
