PENENE PONONO HOSTS FAMILY FUN DAY
Comedian, Penene Ponono, is surely milking his two minutes of extreme fame and pocketing as many Pulas as possible.
The funnyman, born Bokamoso Nthoiwa, has been trending on social media recently, largely because of his new love relationship with Lala. The two Facebook sensations have dominated local banter online, making them one of the most sought-after social media personalities. Cashing in on their popularity while the iron is still hot, the couple is currently touring the country making as many guest appearances as possible. They are also charging for brand placements on their pages, which both boast impressive followings.
Mixing it up this week, Penene Ponono, under his Zola Mdeni company, will host a family fun day at Sharp Grounds. The event, which will cost P60 for adults and P25 for children, will feature performances from the funnyman himself, flanked by Figos, Mingo Touch, Maatla Ephraim Basha and DJ Guyvos.
The event includes activities such as face painting, jumping castles for the kiddies and live music for the grownups.
