THE RETURN OF MBODLELA

Mpho Mooketsi, a.k.a Mbodlela, is not giving up on music, having released two singles, Motho Yo Ithatang and Chuz Maikhethela, through South Africa Media Loxion Records.

Mbodhela’s new music has shifted from Kwaito to Amapiano, which has been influenced mostly by youth. The two singles are not bad at all for a man who hit the spotlight in 1996 through Skizo and Tribal Monks group. In 2006, Mbodlela realesed his debut album called “Spin Da Bottle”, which was produced by Skizo and Charles “Favi” Motsemme. The song raised his profile before he faded into oblivion only to resurrect in 2011 through a group called Boomerang with Pongo Rista and Papa Sy.
