SEFALANA OPENS 23RD LIQUOR

-

Sefalana continued their impressive expansion into the alcohol industry last week, officially opening their 23rd liquor store on Friday, 29 October 2022.

The latest addition to the retailer’s ever-expanding empire is located at Mogoditshane Block 4 (Tsolamosese) and comes hot on the heels of similar outlets opened in Gaborone’s Block 5 and Block 8 locations. On a robust drive to penetrate the liquor sector at retail level in order to give their customers convenience and quality service, Sefalana has set itself a target of opening 50 liquor stores within the next three years. Speaking at Friday’s grand opening ceremony, Sefalana Group Managing Director (MD), Chandra Chauhan reiterated the company’s commitment to providing both excellence and value. “We are not only a wholesaler but also provide our customers with the convenience to buy liquor in small quantities. We pride ourselves with giving our customers the best service and it’s not every time where you can get a shop like this. We remain one of the largest and most profitable grocery shops in the country so that’s why we always strive to give our customers the best,” he emphasized. Chauhan pointed out that Sefalana’s growth was also good for locals, as the retail giant’s do not own any of their buildings but rather rent from Batswana in an effort to further empower and support the communities they operate in. “We don’t own our shops; we only rent from Batswana landlords. As long as Sefalana is here, this is a lifetime shop which we are going to use for the longest time, therefore the owner gets to benefit. It’s not only about selling but impacting lives of those in the society we operate in,” maintained Chauhan. Sefalana’s unrelenting expansion drive continues this month, as the retailer heads to the diamond town of Jwaneng, where they will be opening Sefalana Liquor store number 24 on Friday 18th November.
