A sizzling night with Khumo Studios
DREAMY ambience, impeccable style and fashion, top tier edutainment about the film industry and warm welcoming company - these are the qualities synonymous with ‘A Night With Khumo Studios’.
This past Friday, all cameras were set for A Night with Khumo Studios at New Capitol Cinemas as they launched their anticipated cinematography work. I have been fortunate enough to work with Khumo Studios on their series called ‘Mogapi’, where I was the costume designer/stylist.
The impeccable event, which boasted creatives from content creators, film and movie producers, musicians and social media influencers, started with a star-studded Khumo red carpet then went on to an in-depth panel discussion about the business of entertainment from Botswana’s esteemed film and tv producers.
The event was a playground of dapperness, elegance and stellar red carpet glamour. From trendy aesthetics to colourful dresses, African power suits, metallic statement prints, strappy detailing, plunging necklines and “barely there” cut outs, these were some of the showstoppers of the night.
I was particularly impressed with the men’s effervescent choices, from coloured suits to moodbooster shirts, and luxurious looks.
