PUMA AND CHOPPIES ON THE GO
Puma Energy’s partnership with Choppies Enterprises gained further traction on Tuesday following the opening of their third On the Go convenience store.
Located alongside the Puma petrol station in the tiny village of Boatle, the outlet will provide a shopping convenience for residents as well as motorists who use the A1 road.
Customers will be able to enjoy Orange Services as well as the famous Choppies Motshelo Savings.
Speaking at the grand opening, Puma Energy Managing Director, Dominic Dhanah expressed delight at helping bring Choppies to the people of Boatle.
“This is our first partnership with a homegrown brand which is seen everywhere; we are grateful for Choppies for agreeing to partner with us. As Puma Energy, we are committed to making a difference and meaningful contribution in the community we operate in. Our purpose is to energise communities and drive prosperity, which entails collaborating with both the government and private sector,”
declared Dhanah, adding the initiative was in line with their expansion strategy.
With 43 service stations around the country, Dhanah further urged Choppies to take their partnership to their other markets outside Botswana.
Officially opening the store, Minister of Minerals and Energy, Lefoko Moagi, noted such a move was long overdue.
“For the longest time, we have been struggling to have this kind of service around this area but Choppies continues to accelerate its efforts of taking products and services to people. I’m informed that there is a process to register local farmers on the database to supply Choppies and this convenience store with fresh produces and meat, that’s a commendable effort as it will definitely elevate local farmers in the region.”
The other On the Go convenience stores are in Gaborone, BBS Mall and Fairgrounds.
