Gilson Santos

GILSON REALIZA MANIFESTAÇÕES DE ARTE NA CIDADE. Suas obras e técnicas principais envolvem esculturas em arame, tecido, papel e muita criatividade para fazer colagens. Gilson já fez exposições no Brasil e no exterior, como a instalação sobre formigas exposta na França. Desde criança fazia brinquedos e instrumentos musicais, demonstrando grande talento e capacidade de criação. Foi instrutor de apoio na Oficina de Arte da Fesb por muitos anos. Teve esculturas premiadas em Itatiba e recebeu duas vezes Menção Honrosa no Salão de Arte da mesma cidade. Em Atibaia, sua instalação das formigas também foi premiada. Com sua simplicidade, Gilson vem cativando o público e se destacando tanto na região bragantina como no Estado de São Paulo e também no cenário internacional. Na cidade de Mont de Marsan no sul da França, foi o idealizador dos troféus do Festival de Cinema de Contis.

GILSON DISPLAYS ALL OVER TOWN HIS ART WORK, mainly sculptures made from wire, fabric and paper but also collage pieces. The artist’s sculptures have already been exhibited in Brazil and abroad, such as the Ants Installation shown in France. While he was just a boy, Gilson made toys and music instruments, trying his early techniques to express his talent and creativity. For many years he worked as support instructor at Fesb art workshop. He was awarded in Itatiba for his sculptures and two times got Honorable Mention ar the Art Salon also in Itatiba. His Ants Installation was the runner-up in Atibaia. Mild-mannered Gilson is engaging an increasingly large group of fans extending well beyond Bragança, the State international reputation at Mont Marsan in the south of France when he was commissioned to design the trophy for the Contis Film Festival.
