Maria Valéria Telles de Aguiar
NATURAL DE SANTOS E BRAGANTINA DE CORAÇÃO, Valéria é professora de Arte e foi atriz. Sua paixão pelo magistério fez com que abandonasse os palcos e se dedicasse integralmente às aulas de teatro e suas vertentes: cenário, figurinos, maquiagem, sonoplastia, contrarregra etc. Entre 2005 e 2006 realizou o festival da escola onde trabalhava. Como resultado, os alunos pediram para montar um grupo de teatro fora do período escolar, como o coral que já existia. Iniciou-se então o Fratri Alatere (do latim “Irmãos Lado a Lado”), grupo que está ativo. Para acompanhar o crescimento de aprendizagem dos alunos, Valéria voltou a estudar e fez pós-graduação em Artes Cênicas. O grupo encenou “O corcunda de Notre Dame”, de Victor Hugo, “O Bem-Amado” de Dias Gomes, “Sonho de Uma Noite de Verão” e “A Tempestade”, de Shakespeare, além de duas montagens muito dinâmicas de “Hamlet”. O trabalho de 2014 é “Scaramouche”, de Rafael Sabatini, com adaptação para teatro da própria professora. Para essa peça, Valéria escreveu e inscreveu o grupo no Projeto Ademar Guerra e, por meio de parcerias, conseguiu várias orientações artísticas: corpo teatral, improvisação, voz e exercícios intensos de corporalidade e máscara com o orientador Ewerton Ribeiro, sempre com encontros aos domingos. A apresentação de “Scaramouche” na Casa da Cultura em Bragança Paulista foi aplaudida de pé. “Vivo constantemente a serviço desse sonho chamado teatro. Com montagens envolventes, levo toda uma geração a conhecer textos que só seriam possíveis bem longe, lá na capital, São Paulo. Meu projeto está voltado para o estudo desses textos, para que os jovens percebam como é gratificante é aprender com os clássicos, quanta liberdade se aprende com eles... E o mundo gira e o trabalho prossegue.”
BORN IN SANTOS BUT BRAGANTINA AT HEART, former actress Valéria Aguiar is now an arts teacher. Her passion for teaching made her let the stage behind to fully dedicate herself to acting classes and its side activities in setting, costumes, make-up, sound technique, stage managing and so on. Between 2005 and 2006 she organized the arts festival of the school she worked at. As a result, the students asked to her to put a theater group together to rehearse after school hours, the same way the choir practices already in place. Thus began the still active Fratri Alatere group. To keep up with the students’ growth, Valéria went back to school to get her Master’s Degree in Stage Arts. The group has already performed Victor Hugo’s
Dias Gomes’s O two comedies by Shakespeare – and
– and two lively renditions of Hamlet. For 2014 the group is preparing Rafael Sabatini’s Scaramouche, adapted to stage by Valéria herself who also enrolled the group in the Ademar Guerra Project. Establishing important partnerships, a few artistic guidances helped the group with their stage body, improvisation and voice techniques exercises, besides intense body and masks workshops with coach Ewerton Ribeiro, on Sunday meetings.The performance at the Casa da Cultura [Culture Center] in Bragança Paulista was met with an standing ovation. “I’m constantly dedicated to this dream called the stage. With engajing performances I work to help young people get to know texts that usually are available only far away, in São Paulo city. My project aims to study classical material so that they learn how gratifying it is to learn from them, how much freedom they allow us to have... The world turns and the work goes on.”
