M.R. BBQ & Grill

A recent outing to the Jerudong Park Food Court held a number of pleasant culinary surprises for us, but we paid special attention to M.R. BBQ & GRILL. And it’s impossible to miss from the a long queue of customers patiently waiting to place their orders. And apparently, this is a regular occurrence for them.

It’s not hard to understand why. Barbecue grilled chicken and lamb are their specialty, served with sweet corn and a selection of butter rice, mashed potato or French fries as a side, and doused with hot sauce. How hot, you ask? Three options are offered: Hot, Original, and Below Original. We chose the Hot level for our lamb cut and chicken wings, and they were downright delicious.

There is no question that their chicken wings and lamb cuts are the stars of the show here, and the rest of the menu offers additional side dishes such as cheesy fries and lamb skewers, and a few but satisfactory Kids Meal options. The venue is also a win: Jerudong Park Food Court has seen great improvements in the recent years, and you couldn’t find a cleaner outdoor venue to enjoy your chicken wings in. And if you’re not in the mood to eat out, they also do delivery!
