RATATOUILLE (2007)

Voiced by Patton Oswalt, Ian Holm and Lou Romano Directed by “Anyone can cook!” insists Remy the rat’s favourite chef Auguste Gusteau, and the movie sets out to prove just that by literally dropping Remy in a Parisian restaurant’s bustling kitchen and then turning a disastrous pot of soup into something delicious. And yes, anyone can cook, even an idealistic rat like Remy, whose alliance with a garbage boy in Gusteau’s restaurant gives him the chance to pursue his culinary passion. This is a Pixar film that may not rank at the same level as their other masterpieces, but Brad Bird’s Ratatouille is a glorious testament to how anyone can achieve their dreams if you put your head and heart into it, no matter who you are (or in this case, what you are) or where you come from.
