A New Life for Old Games

-

Geeks & Things started when a self-professed geek was searching for a particular thing. Syazwan was asked an interesting question – why settle for a Game Boy Colour when you can get the original 1989 Game Boy (DMG-01)? Thus began his foray into seeking and collecting other games and consoles that he used to play, and in doing so, meeting with like-minded people who became a friendly network that helped to source out any games and consoles for him to sell.

That was in 2010. In 2015 he opened a small store and then a second branch in Seri Qlap Mall in 2019. The small store manages to boast quite a wide selection of games and consoles for young ones to experiment with and for us older folks to recapture our childhood. Presently, Geeks & Things offers a selection of over 600 games and consoles for sale, ranging from retro games, handhelds and consoles from the 80’s up to mid-2000’s. And here’s a bit of information for the collectors: every item here is an original, authentic product, which would add value to your collection.

They can also custom-make arcade machines for customers, do minor repairs on old consoles and games as well as provide troubleshooting support.

The Geeks & Things mission is to reunite gamers with old friends, and while some of the games on sale here may have become obsolete in the mainstream, here’s hoping these guys continue reuniting us with our childhood for the foreseeable future.
