Cecilia Klass has escaped from her abusive scientist ex-boyfriend and gone into hiding, only to be later informed that he committed suicide and left her a fortune. Believing his death to be a hoax, a series of eerie incidences start to occur as Cecilia slowly begins to unravel trying to convince people that she is hunted by something or someone no one can see.
