WHAT’S IT ABOUT: Faith (Marisa Tomei) travels through Italy with her best friend (Bonnie Hunt) to look for the man she believes is her destiny. Instead she meets Robert Downey Jr.

WHY WE RECOMMEND IT: Seriously? This film is adorable. When Robert Downey Jr.’s character buys Faith a pair of shoes that fits perfectly and goes flawlessly with her planned outfit, you just know they’re destined to be together.

But shoe porn aside, it’s really the journey Faith makes through Venice, Rome and Positano that has a real lasting effect on your memory. Though released in 1994, today I still have this urge to recreate her trip almost step-bystep, from the drive through the Italian countryside to the little nod to the classic Audrey Hepburn film Roman Holiday, and lastly arriving in Positano and soaking in the incomparable view of the Amalfi Coast.

FUN FACT: Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. and their undeniable chemistry sizzled up the big screen again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, with Marisa Tomei in the role as Spiderman’s ridiculously attractive Aunt May.
