Deep Dish Cookie Bowl
Okay lets dial the fancy recipes back a notch and get down to some true comfort food, and nothing says comfort like chocolate chip cookies. This recipe for two is taken from pinchofyum.com.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
½ teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup + 2 tablespoons floor
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
¼ cup chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325F
2. Mix butter and brown sugar, and then whisk in egg yolk and vanilla
3. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda
4. Stir in chocolate chips
5. Divide between two eight-ounce ramekins and press gently to fill the bottom of each
6. Bake for 20 minutes and then allow to cool for a few minutes
7. Grab a spoon and dig in!
Make it better:
Add a scoop of vanilla icecream, ready two spoons (or one, we’re not judging), sit on a comfortable couch (preferably on a rainy day), put on a movie (an old favourite will do), pull on some socks (optional), and dig in!
