> RB took de­liv­ery of the first of three leased Boe­ing 767-200ER air­craft in June 1990 and set a long dis­tance world record for twin-en­gine com­mer­cial air­lines.

> The de­liv­ery of Boe­ing 767-200ER air­craft en­abled RB’S route to ex­tend to Lon­don Gatwick in Novem­ber 1990.

> Twice-weekly flights to Lon­don Heathrow be­gan in May 1991. The route be­came a daily ser­vice on 1 De­cem­ber, 1996.

> RB em­ployed the use of a Fokker 50 air­craft to ser­vice Miri and Labuan in Malaysia, two des­ti­na­tions that were sig­nif­i­cant to the growth of Brunei’s oil and gas in­dus­try.

> The op­por­tu­nity to ex­pand re­gional con­nec­tions saw RB es­tab­lish­ing a ser­vice to Surabaya in 1997.
