BSM introduces SHARE Lite app, shares insights on lubricants in convention
Brunei Shell Marketing Company (BSM) recently introduced its loyalty programme “SHARE Lite” app and shared insights on lubricants with business partners and stakeholders in a convention held at The Empire Brunei.
In his welcoming remarks, BSM Managing Director Muhammad Norshafiee Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil said that BSM has “watched how the world integrate through the use of technology” following the COVID-19 outbreak that disrupted business operations.
BSM has then accelerated its digitalisation plans, refreshing its ways of working and expanded its portfolio, all catering to their customers’ needs.
The SHARE Lite app is a trade loyalty programme made exclusively for BSM customers with more digital services to be introduced in the coming months.
“We believe that by implementing seamless and innovative digital solutions, not only will it help
simplify our interactions, but will also allow us to offer more value to our customers,” added the managing director.
The one-day event offers a unique model of collaboration and partnership for the company to strengthen their relationship with business partners while understanding challenges faced and shape business solutions together.
He further shared that Shell has announced its extended range of biodegradable lubricants – Shell Naturelle which has been created to meet the industry’s demand for sustainable solutions.
“Sustainability is not just a buzzword, it is a commitment and in this regard, it is imperative for us to embed sustainability into our business and the products and services we offer,” he said.
Moreover, in its commitment to provide cleaner energy solutions for Brunei’s transportation sector, BSM previously launched the Shell Recharge, a range of charging solutions that support the sultanate’s future adoption of electric vehicles.
The inaugural business convention hosted by BSM was the first of its kind that was attended by more than 100 participants from various industries in the government and private sectors.
It provided a unique model of collaboration and partnership for BSM to strengthen its relationship with business partners, understand the challenges faced by all parties and formed business solutions together.
The event also saw industry experts in Shell Lubricant technology sharing the latest industry trends and updates with participants, allowing them to enhance their knowledge on Shell’s latest engine oil technology.
The lubricant convention was divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The former was for industrial customers and focused on the value-added services that BSM provides its customers.
Meanwhile, the second session was for the Passenger Cars Motor Oil (PCMO) segment comprising of franchise workshops, independent workshops and high street customers.
BSM also had both sessions livestreamed via its social media @ Go4BSM on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
