Hearty spread at Radisson Weekend Barbecue Buffet Dinner

The weekend is finally here so, get your palates ready for some mouthwater­ing Barbecue Buffet Dinner at the Radisson Hotel!

If you are looking for a place to spend some hearty gathering with your family and friends, seek no further as the internatio­nal hotel is the perfect venue for you.

The establishm­ent presents patrons a fusion of Asian and Western cuisines, ranging from Honey Garlic Roasted Chicken and Stewed Beef Bourguigno­ns for its hot mains to Cajun Marinated Beef Minute Steak for its Barbeque at Poolside delights.

With over 30 food choices to enjoy, the buffet is priced at $29 per adult and $14.50 per child (4 – 11 years old) and only available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

To dine-in at the Tasek Brasserie restaurant, reservatio­ns must be made at 2244272.

The Buffet

Do not let the number of dishes discourage you from enjoying your meals. The buffet spread is meant to be savoured in humble quantity at a time, letting you to come back for more.

For starters, you do not want to miss the buffet highlight; go for its barbecued goods by the pool located just outside of Tasek

Brasserie restaurant.

At the station, the chef lets you choose from three types of protein namely; Cajun Marinated Beef Minute Steak, Red Chilli Marinated Chicken and Turmeric & Caraway Marinated Sea Bass, with four types of sauces to drizzle them in.

From there, you might want to get some pasta at the live cook station either macaroni or penne in red or white sauce which goes well with the barbequed meat.

Just beside the pasta station, for an extra flavour of herbs and spices, you might want to try some Indian street food specials; Chole Bhature, Lentil Dumplings Kachoori and Kadai Chicken Chaat.

Once you are done at the poolside stations outside, you can move to the hot mains inside the restaurant.

The hearty dishes are the musthaves; make sure you take a little bit of everything from the Spicy Asian BBQ Prawns, Baked Fish with Grenonlais­e Sauce, Mushroom & Beef Rasher Pan Pizza, Vegetable Briyani, Maple & Garlic Roasted Pumpkin to Honey Garlic Roasted

Chicken.

From there on, you can walk through the salad, cold cuts, canapés, nachos, soup and last but not the least, dessert.

Salad lovers, rejoice! Pick your favourites from the list; BBQ Sausage and Potato Salad, BBQ Chicken Salad with Sweet Pepper and Grilled Onion, Grilled Seafood Salad with Pesto Dressing, Sweet Potato Salad, Mexican Corn and Beans Salad and Indian Lentil Salad.

End your scrumptiou­s dinner journey with some sweet treats that are freshly prepared by Radisson’s bakers.

You will not want to miss having their desserts such as Nut Praline Cake, White Chocolate Lime with Raspberry Jelly, Mango Cheese Cake, Oreo Red Velvet, Tiramisu, Choux Bun and Green Tea Panna Cotta, among others.

The hotel returns with its well-known large spread buffet following an overwhelmi­ng reception from its previous Sungkai buffet promotion.

In an interview with The Bruneian, the General Manager of Radisson Brunei Miriam Wolber said that the hotel is planning to include lamb in its upcoming promotion after noticing the meat is a local favourite.

“Not only with the lamb but what we are actually looking for in the future is to create another highlight into the barbeque, just to keep it attractive. We are looking at different options until the end of the year as well as next year as well,” she said.

She added that there are some promotions that are planned for July especially during His Majesty the Sultan’s birthday and U.S. Independen­ce Day.
