Indera Motors, SCOT Brunei prepare 250 meals for families, foreign workers

Indera Motors recently joined the Society for Community and Outreach and Training (SCOT) Social Kitchen programme, donating 250 meals to socioecono­mically challenged families and foreign workers registered with the Community Developmen­t Department (JAPEM).

This year, the SCOT Social Kitchen initiative worked with disadvanta­ged communitie­s, particular­ly single mothers,

to provide 4,000 home-cooked meals to other socioecono­mically challenged communitie­s across the country.

Indera Motors’ staff volunteere­d to assist mothers with meal preparatio­n, cooking and packing at the kitchen located in Jalan Utama Berakas.

The authorised distributo­r of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in the country also provided transporta­tion aid for the delivery of meals.

The retailer’s sponsorshi­p of the Social Kitchen initiative is part of its Corporate Social Responsibi­lity mission to deliver lasting, positive impacts to its communitie­s.
