UBD to host Career Fair 2022 16 - 18 June

Universiti Brunei Darussalam will be organising another UBD Career Fair 2022 slated to take place from 16 June to 18 June.

The upcoming three-day event will be carried out physically in compliance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.

The fair will open from 8.30 am to 4.30 am from Thursday to Saturday and will be closed between 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm on Friday.

The UBD Career Fair provides a platform for the target groups; UBD students, alumni and the public to engage with their potential employers.

Activities that will be included are scheduled walk-in interviews, walk-in CV checking and advising sessions by UBD career guides.

This annual event is organised by the UBD’s Centre of Networking, Employment, and Career Training (UBD CoNECT), with the support of the Office of Alumni Relations and Advancement (OARA).

The event aims to strengthen the collaboration between UBD and its industry partners in increasing the marketability of its students and graduates whilst bridging the gap of industries’ expectations with UBD future ready-graduates.

The event anticipates the participation of a variety of industries ranging from educational institutions, food and beverages, communications, health, and several government agencies, which will be offering various employment opportunities and walk-in interviews for full-time and part-time vacancies as well as internship placements.

Pre-event activities consisting of Career Talks and Career Workshops featuring industries experts will also be held on 9 June 2022 which is open to the public too.

These activities will allow opportunities for students, alumni and jobseekers to acquire knowledge on developing the highly-demanded necessities in a majority of today’s careers, such as CV and cover letter-writing, as well as interview, communication and presentation skills among others.
