Racist abuse claimed
French club Racing 92 has complained about racist abuse levelled at their Irish test wing Simon Zebo on a visit to Ulster for a European Champions Cup rugby match. Zebo, 28, claimed on social media that taunts he received from the Ulster crowd last Sunday were ‘‘not on’’. The Cork-born 35-test Irish international joined Racing last year after eight years at his hometown club, Munster. His Parisbased club has yet to lodge a formal complaint with European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), but it issued a statement deploring the ‘‘racist insults’’.
