HUMPBACK WHALES TO THE RESCUE

Right in front of a team of scientists, a seemingly once-ina-lifetime natural event played out. A Weddell seal, surrounded by a group of orcas, was set for certain death before being rescued by humpback whales. It became apparent that this was not an uncommon phenomenon. All around the world, there have been reports of humpback whales thwarting orca attacks and coming to the aid of different animals.
