PUBLIC SAFETY COURSE

The NAUI Public Safety Diver programme introduces the fundamental skills needed by Public Safety Divers during underwater search, rescue and recovery operations. This entry-level course is for those who desire to provide emergency, rescue and investigative services to the public.

The minimum age for these courses is 18 years, along with certification as a NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver or equivalent, a minimum of 20 open water scuba dives and current certification in first aid and CPR at the professional rescuer level.
