GETTING THERE
From Velana International Airport, either catch a domestic flight to Haa Alif Atoll’s Hoarafushi Airport and transfer to your resort via speedboat or have your resort organise a direct flight via seaplane.
Haa Alif Atoll, officially known as Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi, is another excellent option for novice divers. Wide channels and shallow sites facilitate gentle drift dives through reefs and pinnacles showcasing colourful soft and hard corals.
For those seeking some history, the Filadhoo Wreck, at a depth of just 14 metres, is a great introduction to wreck diving. The exciting artificial reef is cloaked in schools of snappers and fusiliers, and for the lucky ones, there’s the chance to encounter
