From now till New Year’s Eve, Marina Bay will be pulsating with activities as Celebrate in the City brings the public together to usher in 2019. Celebrate will feature eight marquee events catering to all ages and interests, culminating in the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown celebration on December 31. Thrill-seekers will not want to miss the high-octane and fun-filled Great Moscow Circus. Prudential Marina Bay Carnival at the Bayfront Event Space presents 50 thrilling rides and games. The ‘Poinsettia Wishes Featuring Disney Tsum Tsum’ floral display will be at Gardens by the Bay. Mickey Mouse and his Tsum Tsum pals will bring a touch of magic to the festive floral display in the Flower Dome. Christmas Wonderland is Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair. Be spellbound by a world-class illusionist, skate under the stars, experience ‘snow’ in the tropics and enjoy fun carnival games. Take in the Artscience Museum’s exhibition ‘FUTURE WORLD: Where Art Meets Science’ to view a futuristic world of interactive artworks with a festive twist. At Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, music lovers can gather for a time of collaboration, reflection and revelry at Come Together. On New Year’s Eve, Celebrate concludes on a high note with the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown with the theme “Bay of Hopes and Dreams”, inviting everyone to ring in their hopes and dreams for the New Year. The inaugural Star Island Singapore Countdown Edition –at The Float @ Marina Bay fuses magnificent fireworks with cutting-edge technology and 3D surround sound and amazing light shows.
