Seletar Airport Opens New Passenger Terminal

-

(Singapore) Seletar Airport has started operations at its new passenger terminal. The new terminal is ready to handle scheduled commercial flights. All scheduled turboprop flights in Singapore will operate from the new terminal from December 1, 2018. Passengers on commercial flights can check in via four check-in counters. Spanning 10,000sqm, the new two-storey terminal features more space for arrival immigration, baggage claim and a meeters-and-greeters hall. A café in the departures serves refreshments and quick bites. Three parking stands adjacent to the new terminal enable quick boarding for passengers of commercial flights, and a faster turnaround time for the aircraft. Another 60 aircraft stands, located elsewhere, serve business and general aviation needs. The Seletar Business Aviation Centre comprises a separate drop-off area and a dedicated check-in and lounge area where business aviation passengers can enjoy quick pre-departure and arrival clearance. There are meeting facilities on the second level where passengers can conduct meetings. The new terminal is served by public bus service 102, which provides connectivity from Seletar Airport to Hougang Central Bus Interchange, Sengkang MRT station and Jalan Kayu.
