Since its debut in 2008, the Singapore Grand Prix has become a firm favourite among Formula One aficionados and casual racing fans alike. With Singapore’s unique skyline serving as a backdrop, a capacity of 80,000 and a circuit set on the city-state’s streets, the event results in near-shutdown for the Marina Bay area as it becomes a threeday festival of racing, music, drinking and dining. As ever, the organisers have put just as much effort into the entertainment on offer as the race itself, with a musical lineup that includes Calvin Harris, Ariana Grande and iconic British pop band Duran Duran, spread across four stages.
