Lesly lotha digital manager

Lesly joined Southeast Asia Globe this year to oversee and revamp its digital strategy. With her background in communications, she went to work with the International Federation of Journalists Asia-Pacific and the Walkley Foundation in Sydney, Australia, before moving back to her native India and working as a digital media consultant.

She moved to Cambodia in 2017 to work with rural communities as a communications and multimedia manager for a local NGO. When her contract was up, she knew she wasn’t ready to part ways with the Kingdom, but was ready to get back to journalism – which brought her to the Globe team.

“I am excited to be working with such a dynamic group of people who share the same enthusiasm about news, innovations in media and the latest trending hashtags,” says Lesly, who has established Twitter as a second home.

Outside of work, Lesly can be found reading books (Jean-Paul Sartre’s Nausea is an old favourite), going on “photo walks” of Phnom Penh neighbourhoods and discovering fresh design tricks in Photoshop and Lightroom.
