THE Cambodia Import-Export Inspection and Fraud

Repression Directorate General (Camcontrol) on Sunday filed a lawsuit against 14 petrol stations in Takeo province over alleged cheating on quality, officials said. Por Leangkong, Takeo province’s Camcontrol chief said the lawsuit was filed in court, following a probe at 19 petrol stations last week, from where samples of gasoline were taken for testing. Leangkong said his team found that the samples from 14 of those stations “lacked quality”. He said one station refused to provide any samples. “We will extend the inspection. If we find irregularities, legal measures will be taken,” he said and warned station owners to follow the law.
