In early November, thousands of manufacturers unleash their new products at the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) show. Manufacturers cloak these new releases in secrecy until the show, so that no one can copy their ideas before they are unveiled. Most wheelers have to wait until then to see what’s in store. But not you. In the following pages, 4WDrive shines the spotlight on some cool products that will take the stage at the upcoming SEMA show.

A FULL LINE OF 3 PIECE TRUCK BUMPERS DV8 Offroad, has introduced a full line of truck bumpers for Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and Toyota. The truck bumper line consists almost entirely of three piece plate bumpers. These modular bumpers allow for ultimate design flexibility and allow the designers at DV8 Offroad to create a stout and lightweight bumper that can ship via standard ground shipping. The three-piece design allows for easy replacement if one of the pieces is damaged in an accident and also provides the opportunity to swap out the end pieces for a different style i.e. Baja, Plate, High Clearance etc.

Customers will no longer have to pay upwards of $250 for shipping, or have to deal with the headache that comes with shipping a large one-piece bumper LTL (less than truckload). They did not sacrifice style when making these bumpers modular, using razor thin adjoining edges to keep the full size bumper look. DV8 Offroad products come powder coated in a sand texture black finish. This finish can be left as is or can be sanded down and painted over to colour match the bumper to the vehicle.

This full line of truck bumpers is able to ship inexpensively and comes in at a fraction of the cost to the end user. For a full list of applications and to view all of their products visit DV8Offroad.com or call to request a catalog at (951) 680-9595.

COVERKING’S NEW TONNEAU Jeep Wrangler owners who store gear behind the rear passenger seat often find it wet or covered with dirt, especially when driving without the vehicle’s top. Coverking® came up with a solution in the form of a removable tonneau cover that is manufactured from the company’s durable Rhinohide™ material.

Coverking’s Tonneau Covers for Jeep Wranglers easily attach to the vehicle in three key areas. One is from the back of the factory rear seat using heavy-duty straps that wrap around the headrests. The tonneau’s sides tuck into the vehicle’s factory rear window retaining groves and also use the OE factory top retaining bolts to secure it tightly to the deck of the rear quarter panels.

The Rhinohide™ fabric resists abrasions, accidental tears, and is puncture resistant. The tonneau cover also wraps around the Jeep’s rear roll bar, and has a wide flap that fits over the rear tailgate, providing a flexible and durable shield that’s simple to install yet provides easy access to your gear when you’re on the trail.

The cover fits 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wranglers and is available for JK, JKU, JL and JLU models in Black, Sand, and Steel Gray. More information on all Coverking’s products specifically designed for Jeeps, are available on the Coverking® website at www.coverking.com/Jeep.

TAKE A KITCHEN ON THE TRAIL Bring a functioning kitchen to the trail with the Trail Kitchen from MORryde. This compact bolt-in kitchen system takes up minimal space to provide maximum storage in the cargo area in the back of a Jeep Wrangler or any vehicle with a flat floor. The Trail Kitchen incorporates a sliding tray and collapsible table that provides over 5 1/2 square feet of counter space along with a storage compartment that offers over 300 cubic inches of space. Owners can customize the Trail Kitchen with additional accessories to make it their own. Accessories can include a fold-out counter, a clip-on countertop, and a Molle Grid. The Trail Kitchen can accommodate the most popular refrigerators and freezers in-use today (Dometic, ARB 50 quart, and others), can be easily installed, and is removable for off-road adventures or tailgating. www.morryde.com

SKID PLATES & WINCH MOUNT FOR TOYOTA 4 RUNNER ASFIR has developed a new product line for the Toyota 4 Runner. It is a full set of 6 mm aluminum skid plates, which protect the front, transmission, transfer, fuel tank & exhaust.

Aluminum is strong but flexible, so it can be straightened after impact while driving off-road. Aluminum is also lighter than steel, and the weight savings may improve your gas mileage, saving you a few bucks at the pump.

All skid plates are bolted on to original holes in the chassis so there is no drilling, welding or cutting involved.

The side steps bolt onto the chassis, but they are not just for good looks. A steel profile beneath the aluminum cover of the side step allows them to be used as a jacking point all along the side of the vehicle.

The new hidden winch mount is installed inside the original bumper and looks great on the vehicle. It accommodates a 9500lbs winch.
