Take a Kitchen on the Trail

You can bring a functionin­g kitchen to the trail with the Trail Kitchen from MORryde. This compact kitchen system takes up minimal space to provide maximum storage in the cargo area in the back of a Jeep Wrangler or any vehicle with a flat floor. The Trail Kitchen incorporat­es a sliding tray and collapsibl­e table that provides over 5 1/2 square feet of counter space along with a storage compartmen­t that offers over 300 cubic inches of space.

We were able to test and install the new bolt-in system for Jeep, along with additional accessorie­s including a fold-out counter, a clip-on countertop, and a Molle Grid. Our 35L Dometic CFX35W fridge freezer fit in with room to spare, which is no surprise as the unit was designed to handle fridge freezers larger than our Dometic like the ARB 50 quart, and others.

Like other MORryde products we’ve tested, it is a well-engineered piece of kit. It expands to provide a sturdy work surface, yet packs up to into a small space that doesn’t bang around on the trail. Trail rides and overlandin­g are obvious uses, but we’ve also found it was perfect on tailgate parties and on a couple of fishing trips where it was the perfect space and height to filet our catch.

New for 2019, MORryde will offer several incredible options including a sink with on-demand water, cutting board, secondary power system for your fridge/freezer, and a multi-drawer cabinet.
