Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Golden Glam-ma Pageant 2019 raised funds for the PICS Diversity Village project. Contestants were grandmas showcasing their beauty and talent. There were 14 contestants. A very entertaining event raising funds for seniors who need personalized attention.
Surrey Hospital Foundation launched their Surgical Centre Renewal Campaign to raise $10 million toward the renovation and upgrading of 10 operating rooms at the Surrey Hospital. Their goal is to bring the most innovative medical technologies and equipment to Surrey, which will assist with recruitment and retention of top surgical talent. Surrey Memorial Hospital is in the Fraser Health region and serves more than 1.8 million residents.
