INTERNATIONAL

-

The Surrey International Trade Centre provides businesses with trade documentation services, business connections, digital trade events, targeted market information/support and trade opportunities to sell goods and services beyond Canada’s borders. International Trade (importing and exporting) is still important during the pandemic and for economic recovery.

SERVICE HIGHLIGHT - Certificates of Origin (COS)

Certificates of origin (COS) are legal documents that declare the origin of a product. When you export goods to an overseas customer, you must include a certificate of origin with your shipment. The Surrey Board of Trade offers this service to members and non-members, digitally or in-person.

All travellers entering Canada—by air, land or sea— must provide Government of Canada officials with information including contact information, quarantine destination information, and symptoms.

The Government of Canada has recently introduced the Arrivecan App so that travellers can provide this information by digital means. http://cantruck.ca/government-of-canadareleases-arrivecan-mobile-app-for-essentialworkers/
