“We need to work together to ensure public safety,” said Anita Huberman, CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade. “Restoring confidence in public transit will be paramount to effective economic recovery in BC. We need strong and reliable public transporta­tion infrastruc­ture in order to get our workforce moving again.

“Economic recovery can only occur when everyone does their part to ensure that the curve remains flattened. That means wearing a mask when physical distancing is not possible and abiding by other provincial health mandates. We can get through this pandemic together – if everyone just does what is needed.”
