Romance writing doesn’t always get the respect it deserves, and the Romantic Novelists’ Association recently penned an open letter, with 496 signatories, to the Sunday Times asking to be treated fairly, after the newspaper failed to include any romance titles in its roundup of the Best Books of 2021. But we love romance and we know many of you do too, so what better time to celebrate the genre than now? Love poems are the reason many lovers smile when they receive gifts. Love poems make the world go round.
