It’s been another activity filled week on the farm. Mom had lunch with long time friend, Marg ( Johnson) Seymour Aug. 24. Marg was back in Nova Scotia from Newfoundland. I’m glad they got to continue the tradition of a yearly visit.
That evening, Darrell and I were off to Morden to visit with Darrell’s nephew Jason Lohnes and his family. A lovely evening was had by all.
Saturday evening, I was on the road again. Mom, Darrell and I were off to CentreStage where we met up with friends, Bernice Brake, Coldbrook, and Ruby Smiley from Hantsport. We watched the amazing play Same Time, Next Year. What made it so amazing was that the play had a cast of two! That’s right, two people did the entire play and did a phenomenal job.
Sunday night we had a “1719 party” at Susan’s. “What’s a 1719 party?” you ask? Both Emma and Rachele had birthdays in August and because everyone in the Foote family is so busy, we combined them and because the girls were 17 and 19, respectively, We had delicious barbecued steak and chicken, with a multitude of salads which was followed by cheesecake of various kinds. Yummy!
