The County of Kings is planning an information session on the proposed direction for the future of energy in the county.
The proposal specifically discusses large-sale wind turbines.
A meeting will be held March 12 at the Orchard Room of the county offices in Kentville. The session will give people the opportunity to learn about the draft document, provide early feedback and have their say in what is appropriate and acceptable in terms of large-scale wind turbine use in rural areas.
The meeting will begin with a presentation from county staff, followed by group discussions.
The session will get underway at 6 p.m. A storm date of March 18, at the same time and location, has been set.
