Concert honours military children

The Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre will present a celebratory concert April 23 in Greenwood in honour of April being the Month of the Military Child.

The concert will include performances by the 14 Wing band, the Canadian Military Wives Choir Greenwood and the Greenwood Players. It will feature selections from Shrek, Frozen, Star Wars, Harry Potter and more. The 2 p.m. concert is open to the public at the Morfee Centre gym, 24 School Rd., Greenwood. Donations at the door will be accepted for Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre programs and services.

The Month of the Military Child acknowledges the sacrifices and resilience of military children.
