Special visits were recently appreciated.

Adam Lonergan and Maryam Rahmati, Edmonton, Alta. arrived in Nova Scotia June 15 to spend time at the home of Adam’s parents, Glenn and Heather Lonergan, of South Berwick. Maryam’s brother, Mehdi Rahmati, and his wife, Shirin, arrived June 19 and her parents, Mohamed and Susan Rahmati, all from Iran, arrived June 21. ***

On June 21, a bridal show was held at the home of Alice Russell, for Maryam, who got married to Adam Loergan on June 24. It was a lovely, sunny afternoon, and very pleasant on the back deck. A few of the traditional games were played. Strawberry shortcake and trifle and more were enjoyed by the guests. Cards, which contained monetary gifts, were read by Heather Lonergan. Thanks to the co-hostesses - Alice Russell, Connie Archer and Marsha Easson.
