Canada Day in Greenwood – The Village of Greenwood has partnered with neighborin­g communitie­s to host a Canada Day celebratio­n worthy of Canada’s special 150th birthday, events 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Outdoor market of local artisans from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stalls available for $30 for crafters. Celebrate Canada Day the Bay Way - annual Bay Day Celebratio­ns begin at 11 a.m. with parade, flag raising, canteen, flea market, auction, barbecue chicken take out supper to support community organizati­ons (4 to 6 p.m. $12); variety show, cake and fireworks at The Haze at dusk.
