• - Kings Presbyteri­an Church, 11 a.m.–1 p.m., Prospect Road, New Minas (just past Big Stop). Freewill offering. Prepared by the Presbyteri­an Church Women years of age to purchase tickets

• - 2:30 p.m. at The Forest Hill Baptist Church, except the fourth Sunday, which is the Hymn Sing evening

• - 9 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. at the Berwick Lions Hall, music by Ruth Manning and the Prospector­s. Cost is $8 at the door, 50/50 draw and a door prize draw for $100 worth of fuel from Fuel for Less.

• - St. James Anglican Church, 8–10 a.m. Freewill offering with a $7 minimum

• Pizza and a Movie Night Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Wilmot Baptist Christian Fellowship Centre, 208 Dodge Road, Wilmot. Pizza served at 5:30 p.m. and the family movie (A Man Called Jon) begins at 6 p.m. Call 765-2386 for info.

• Chase the Ace at Clementspo­rt Legion. First draw Jan. 27 at 8 pm. Tickets available all week at the Legion. Tickets sales cut off at 7 p.m. on draw night. The Legion will be open at 4 p.m. with other activities. All proceeds to the Branch 122 Ladies Aux. • Crafting Club from 3:15 to 5 p.m. at the Bridgetown & Area Library. The Crafting Club will be meeting on the second Thursday of the month. All materials are supplied and the program is free. Registrati­on is required as space is limited. Call the library at 665-2758 for more informatio­n. • The Macdonald Museum Bridge Group will be meeting at St. John’s United Church in Middleton, starting on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. and continuing every two weeks after that until the end of March, weather permitting.
