On Nov. 3 there will be a ticket auc­tion and bake sale at the lodge hall on Cot­tage Street. The doors open at 10 a.m. with the draw tak­ing place at 2 p.m. You must be at the draw to win.

On Nov. 7 at the Re­bekah Lodge hall there will be a “paint night” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The cost is $40. For more in­for­ma­tion or to regis­ter, call Julie at 902-538-7762.

Game day runs from noon un­til 2 p.m. and is for all ages.

Jackie MacPhee re­ceived an hon­orary mem­ber­ship in the Rug Hook­ing Guild of Nova Sco­tia in recog­ni­tion for her con­tri­bu­tion to the art of rug hook­ing. Pic­tured are Ann Marie Harley and Donna Mc­Grath, of the Nova Sco­tia guild, with MacPhee.
