Break­fast with Santa

Hun­dreds turn out for 31st an­nual Christ­mas event in Lawrence­town

Break­fast with Santa has be­come a tra­di­tion at Lawrence­town Con­sol­i­dated School, and the 31st edi­tion drew big crowds as young and old alike dropped by for pan­cakes, ba­con, or­anges and much more for the most im­por­tant meal of the day.

They stuck around for face paint­ing, a chance to sit on Santa’s knee, and maybe get a candy cane from the jolly old elf. There was a silent auc­tion and 50/50 draw, plus the Lawrence­town Lions Club at­tended to hand out free books to all the kids.

There was also a Christ­mas ham­per peo­ple were buy­ing tick­ets on, and a fes­tive spirit that lasted the whole morn­ing.


The jolly old elf had a treat for every­body, in­clud­ing this young Santa fan who seems de­lighted to meet the red-suited gift-giver at Break­fast with Santa in Lawrence­town.


Get­ting a chance to meet Santa Claus was the whole point of Break­fast with Santa at the Lawrence­town Con­sol­i­dated School.


Many peo­ple bought tick­ets on the Christ­mas Ham­per dur­ing the an­nual Break­fast with Santa at in Lawrence­town.
