RCMP and teach­ers face off against Mid­dle­ton Monar­chs

There was no short­age of en­ter­tain­ment value for fans in the stands when the Mid­dle­ton Monar­chs took on a team stacked with teach­ers and RCMP of­fi­cers Dec. 19.

The friendly, co- ed game was or­ga­nized by grad chair­per­son Trin­ity Ch­es­ley.

Pro­ceeds col­lected at the door and from a 50/ 50 draw were do­nated to a lo­cal fam­ily im­pacted by a house fire ear­lier this year.


Mid­dle­ton Monar­chs high school hockey play­ers faced off against a team com­prised of teach­ers and RCMP of­fi­cers in a friendly, co-ed game Dec. 19. It was a close match through to the third pe­riod, with the RCMP and teach­ers ul­ti­mately win­ning 5-3.

Al­bert John­son couldn’t lose when high school stu­dents faced off against a team com­prised of teach­ers and RCMP mem­bers at the Mid­dle­ton and Dis­trict Arena. There were John­sons to root for on each team.
