The Ber­wick Li­brary plenty to of­fer this month. Some of the events in­clude: Free Tech Help: Get one- onone help with tablets, eRead­ers and mo­bile de­vices; email, Face­book; on­line li­brary ser­vices; back­ing up and stor­ing im­por­tant files, etc. These run on Tues­days. Call to sched­ule your ap­point­ment at 902-538-8060.

Game Day: All ages are in­vited to bring their favourite game to share at the li­brary, “the com­mu­nity’s liv­ing room,” on Jan. 12. This takes place from noon un­til 2 p.m. This is on the has sec­ond Satur­day each month.

Win­ter Film Nights: Cli­mate Change and the Hu­man Prospect are fea­tured on Jan. 17. This 40-minute film doc­u­ments the vi­sion cre­ated at the Cen­tre for Lo­cal Pros­per­ity’s Cli­mate Change and the Hu­man Prospect: A Thinkers’ re­treat that was held at Thinkers Lodge in Pug­wash in the fall of 2017. The film will be fol­lowed by dis­cus­sion cen­tered on lo­cal ac­tion and adap­ta­tion. Re­fresh­ments avail­able af­ter screen­ing. Storm date is Jan. 24.

This Fe­bru­ary, the li­brary is cel­e­brat­ing Her­itage Day with Folk art. Bring yours in to the li­brary so it can be dis­played for the month. For more in­for­ma­tion, con­tact the li­brary.
