• Play 50/50 - A new fundraiser by Soldiers Memorial Health Auxiliary. Buy your tickets now at the Carousel Gift Shop in the lobby of the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. $2 per ticket or $5 for three. Draws are biweekly on the first and third Thursday of each month.
• Winter Farmer’s Market at Historic Gardens, Annapolis Royal every Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Your source for local food products and more, from October until May. Free admission. Call 5327018. Facebook: AnnapolisRoyalWinterMarket.
• Christmas Tea, Craft & Bake Sale at Springfield United Baptist Church, 1203 Highway 10, in the church vestry, from 2 to 4 p.m. Tea: adults, $5 and ages 12 & under, $2. Proceeds for church purposes.
• Giant Used Book Sale from 9 a.m. to noon hosted by Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library at St. Luke’s Church Hall, 340 St. George St., Annapolis Royal. All proceeds support the library. Bring your own cloth bag to fill and stock up for your winter reading!

• Remembrance Day Service – The Remembrance Day Service at the Annapolis Royal Legion Monday, Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive prior to 10 a.m. to ensure seating. After the service, everyone is welcome to join us for a great buffet donated by Legion members and prepared by volunteers.
• Free Women’s Wellness Fair Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Annapolis Basin Conference Centre, Cornwallis at the Desmond Piers Building (building at the very end of Broadway Avenue). Displays by local services and free workshops. Registration is not required but is appreciated. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Bringing Self Care into Your Day; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. Rock Painting: Bring Joy to Places You Love; 12:30 to 1 p.m. Yoga/ Stretching Exercises; 1 to 2 p.m. Music in Our Daily Lives.
