• Scottish Country Dance Classes — All are welcome to join in Scottish Country Dance classes on Monday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. starting March 16 and running for eight weeks at the Wilmot Community Centre. Scottish Country is a social dance form so no partner or special attire is required, and it is suitable for any adult from 16 to 96. Come out and learn how to reel and wheel, pousette and allemande. No experience is required, only an interest in dance and/or Scottish traditions. Instructor Susan Van Horne has enjoyed Scottish country dancing for 35 years. • Toy Photograph­y — At the Annapolis Royal Library from 1 to 3:30 p.m., for ages 10 and up. Bring your own camera or cell phone, and if you have a favourite toy you want to take a picture of, bring that too. Dioramas will be provided.

• Library Book Club — At the Bridgetown & Area Library from 2 to 3 p.m. Join us at the library to share views and ideas about selected books, usually fiction. This is for adults. For more informatio­n call the branch during open hours at 902-665-2758.

• Mini Experiment­s: Science Fair — At the Middleton – Rose M Harvey Middleton & Area Library from 1 to 2 p.m. Play with science during March break! We’ll read a picture book then do an experiment based on the book. Ages seven to 10, registrati­on required as space is limited.

• Keva Planks – Building Time — At the Middleton – Rosa M Harvey Middleton & Area Library from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Stop by and see what you can build with our Keva planks! Ages five and up. No registrati­on needed.

• March Break Fun! — At the Middleton – Rosa M Harvey Middleton & Area Library from 2 to 3 p.m. Join us for friends, snacks and fun activities! For children ages six to 10 years. Space is limited, so please register soon.

• Dr. G – Science Music — At the Bridgetown & Area Library from 10 to 11 a.m. Dr. G is a theremin-playing space geek on a mission to spread the word about science! Merging hooky new wave beats with lyrics explaining science and the natural universe — think Talking Heads fronted by Bill Nye the Science Guy — Dr G creates a sound that is utterly unique, and as educationa­l as it is infectious, for Science! Registrati­on is needed.

• Makedo: Build with cardboard — At the Bridgetown & Area Library from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Drop in to build with cardboard! Makedo is a kit that includes child-safe cardboard saws and tools to explore ideas through making and play. Ages five and up (under seven must be accompanie­d by a caregiver). No registrati­on needed, just drop in and see what you can make.

• Roast Beef Supper — At the Port George Rec Center on Shore Road in Port George from 4 to 6 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. Alternate supper storm date is March 28. For more informatio­n check the Port George Regional Rec. Center facebook page.

• Evergreen Theatre — “The Once” will be performing at the Evergreen Theatre, 1941 Mountain Rd., Margaretsv­ille at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40; Military, $35; Students, $20 and are available at www.evergreen theatre.ca

• Games night — 7 p.m. at Three Rivers Community Center, 41 Messenger Road, Torbrook Mines. Drop by and try your hand at cards, board games or bring one of your favorites. Freewill offering. Light lunch provided. 902760-2471.
