A look at the schedule for the 88th Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival, which will take place May 25 to 30. This year’s theme is Back In Bloom.

Wednesday, May 25

7 p.m. – Opening ceremonies at the Main Street Station Ballroom in Kentville.

Thursday, May 26

4-8 p.m. – Food truck party, Louis Millet Community Complex parking lot in New Minas .

6-8 p.m. – Ciders and Sliders – a tap takeover, Maritime Express Cider Co. in Kentville.

Friday, May 27

7:45-9:30 p.m. – Apple Blossom Ghost Walk, by Valley Ghost Walks. Meeting at the steps outside Main Street Station in Kentville. Cost: $25 for adults, $20 for students. Deals for groups of four, six and eight people.

7 p.m.-Fireworks – Blossom Bash featuring Mark Riley and his band, Memorial Park in Kentville.

Dusk (around 10 p.m.) – Fireworks, Memorial Park in Kentville.

Dusk – Apple Blossom Movie Night, Valley Drive In in Cambridge. $10 per carload.

Saturday, May 28

10 a.m. – Children's Parade, downtown Kentville.

11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Carnival for Kids, Centre Square in Kentville.

12:45 p.m. – Road Crew Apple Blossom Ride, Grand

Street Parade Route.

1 p.m. – Grand Street Parade, Highway 1, New Minas Connector to Memorial Park in Kentville.

7-11 p.m. – Apple Blossom Main Street Party featuring a DJ and Roxy & The Underground Soul Sound, Main Street Station parking lot in Kentville. Cost, $10. An event for those 19 and older.

Dusk – Apple Blossom Movie Night. Valley Drive In in Cambridge. Free will offering, with proceeds going to the Coldbrook and District Lions Club.

Sunday, May 29

10 a.m.-3 p.m. – Apple Blossom Antique Car Show, Coldbrook Lions Club in Coldbrook.

10 a.m. – Apple Blossom Tractor Pull, Northville Heritage Farm in Centreville. Cost, $10.

10 a.m.-10 p.m.– Callister’s 10-year birthday bash re-do. Callister’s Country Kitchen, Coldbrook.

Dusk – Apple Blossom Movie Night, Valley Drive In in Cambridge. $10 per carload.

Monday, May 30

1-3 p.m. – Leadership Candidate Reunion, Callister's Country Kitchen in Coldbrook.
