AND THE WINNERS ARE...
A look at this year’s recipients of Taste of Nova Scotia Awards, which were presented Oct. 27 during the Devour! The Food Film Fest in Wolfville.
Award for service – Rhys Harnish, Shore Club (Hubbards).
Product of the year – Fundy Gin, Still Fired Distilleries (Lequille). Restaurant of the year – Rhubarb Restaurant (Indian Harbour).
Producer of the year – Boxing Rock Brewing Company (Shelburne).
Gary MacDonald Culinary Ambassador Award –
Hans Christian Jost, former owner of Jost Vineyards, Gaspereau Vineyards and the Tatamagouche Brewing Company.
He said it: “These awards recognize and celebrate culinary excellence and the commitment, creativity, vision and passion of these five Taste of Nova Scotia members,” says Jason Lynch, Le Caveau Restaurant; Grand Winery; and Cumin Kitchen, and board chair of Taste of Nova Scotia.
