Well, there was a lot of hype pre­ced­ing the open­ing of the ex­hibit of works of U.K. street artist Banksy, which runs un­til Sept. 2, both good and bad. There was a swanky open­ing party, tick­ets sold quickly, a work was ap­par­ently stolen. It was an ex­cit­ing time. But then came the mo­ment that things got even stranger: a protest of sorts sprung up in the form of an anti-ex­hibit where peo­ple could view those wait­ing in line to at­tend the Banksy show as art. It was part-spec­ta­cle, part-prank. Banksy would be proud.
